The NBA Summer League is back in Vegas again this week to fill the void of non-exciting sporting events in Las Vegas this summer until football comes back. The Vegas Aces are cutting all of our favorite players, The Oakland – soon to be Las Vegas – Athletics are last in the AL West and its hot outside to make things worse.
From July 10 – 20, 2025, the NBA 2K26 Summer League will take over the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. Expect nonstop action – 76 games in just under 2 weeks, featuring all 30 NBA teams, with each squad playing at least five games before playoff contention begins on July 19 and the championship on July 20.
Cooper Flagg Debuts
All eyes are on opening night (July 10), which features a primetime doubleheader:
Mavericks vs Lakers – watch No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg make his pro debut

Spurs vs Sixers – spotlight on No. 2 pick Dylan Harper and No. 3 pick VJ Edgecombe
Players to Watch
Cooper Flagg (Dallas Mavericks) – The No.1 overall pick from Duke will look to bring his collegiate dominance to the pros. Averaged 19.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 4.2 apg at Duke; Summer League is his first NBA stage.
Dylan Harper (San Antonio Spurs) – Drafted No.2, he missed early games with a groin injury but is expected to suit up in Vegas. Harvard indicates high upside at guard.
VJ Edgecombe (Philadelphia 76ers) – No.3 pick and elite athlete from Philly. Already making headlines and ready to show off his skills.
Kon Knueppel (Charlotte Hornets, No.4) and Ace Bailey (Utah Jazz, No.5) – Expect matchup fireworks when these sharpshooters collide on July 11.
