Podcasts are so hot these days. From learning about murders, storytelling, interviews, and even rating fast food – podcasts are here to stay whether you like it or not. But sometimes you want something a little more specific, a little more tailored to your local interests. And thats why I’m bringing you some of the best podcasts you can find that are based out of the Entertainment Capital of the World – Las Vegas.
Hey BigHead Show
As we get to know each other a little better, I’m not going to b.s. you – this is my podcast and I’m shamelessly adding this to the top of the list.
What once started as a podcast talking to other business owners, I found that talking about business following a full work day was tedious and quite boring to say the least.
So I instead shifted my focus towards interviews, live music, and showcasing local events.
Doing that let me be a bit more of myself, allowed me to showcase topics that interested me, and helps me promote other businesses in a more unique/fun way than you see other shows do it.
We’re like 15 episodes in or so and I already see the potential of what it can turn in to. Check out HeyBigHead.com for full episodes every week.
The LasVegasFill Podcast
I have a lot of questions for Philip Tzeng, mainly why the spelling of Fill instead of Phil. Also, how does one go from getting a Bachelors of Music, to a Concierge Manager, and then becoming one of the largest foodie influencers in Las Vegas. Known nationwide, LasVegasFill is one of the realest, most straight shooters you’ll find on the social media restaurant side of your algorithm.
So of course it makes sense for him to have his own podcast as he covers the social media scene revolving around Las Vegas. A good amount of guests he’s had on are Vegas social media influencers like our very own @radioheather, @tallzz_, @thelasvegasfoodie and more. But on top of that, hes interviewed Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and local Vegas artist @prettydone (who I will embarrassingly admit don’t know what his real name is).

On the Corner of Main Street
This is Heather’s favorite podcast of all time apparently. Shot on Main Street in Downtown Las Vegas, On the Corner of Main Street is a podcast that showcases all the happenings going on around downtown Las Vegas.
Hosted by Plaza CEO, Jonathan Jossel, On the Corner has interviewed all sorts of big names in Las Vegas like Mayor Oscar Goodman, Derek Stevens (who basically runs the show in Downtown Las Vegas) and others.
Sure they won Best Las Vegas Podcast from the Las Vegas Weekly, but they still aren’t voted the Official Podcast for Vegas Locals…
City Cast Las Vegas
With shorter episodes than the other podcasts listed here, City Cast Las Vegas informs listeners with local happenings around town. Its perfect if you’re on the go and don’t have much time to listen to a longer episode while mainly geared towards topics relevant to Las Vegas residents.
So Funny It Hurts
While Jonathan Jossel might be Heather’s favorite, Mikalah Gordon from the So Funny It Hurts Podcast is mine. Mikalah, a cohost on the Morning Show over at 98.5 KLUC, takes her talents off the radio and into the podcast studio.
She interviews a wide variety of celebrities like Jamie Kennedy and Luenell (you’d recognize her if you saw her) as well as some Vegas Locals as well.
I’ve met Mikalah a few times and shes one of the sweetest, most down to earth people I’ve ever met. 10/10 person and for that her podcast earns a spot on this highly sought after list.
Fargo Talks
Our very own Heather Collins has been on a few episodes of this podcast as well. Fargo Talks, hosted by Jeff Fargo, is a 1 on 1 (or sometimes many) discussion with Jeff and his guest for the week.
Covering topics such as dating in Las Vegas, how to spot “ladies of the night” at local casino bars, showcasing nearby restaurants, and interviewing other social media influencers.
Needless to say its a wide variety of topics that are covered episode to episode, but you will be entertained nonetheless.
