Esther’s Kitchen

One of the few restaurants in Las Vegas that feels like eating in your Italian grandmother’s house. Fantastic service, charming ambiance, and delicious food are the hallmarks here.

Kick off your dining experience with a loaf of fresh sourdough and creamy butter.

If you’re feeling a bit wild, go ahead and explore a variety of sides to complement that sourdough. Every entrée is a hit, but the pasta dishes? They’re on another level of amazing.

Amano

I hope losing weight isn’t part of your New Year’s resolutions this year, because if it is, you’d be missing out on one of the most memorable presentations of a spaghetti dish you’ve ever seen.

I really don’t know where to start or how to describe these dishes. This isn’t the type of dish that Mama Fig is going to make for Sunday night dinner. This is what you create while you’ve taken your 2nd edible of the night and think peanut butter and jelly slices are a good idea (like slices of cheese, but pb&j flavored).

Head in and order a “Fat Baby” which is where they take a large baguette, stuff it with pasta, and pour more sauce than you’d ever need all over it. Or if two people want the same Fat Baby, go for the Gondola. You won’t leave hungry I promise you.

La Strega

Nestled over in the Summerlin suburbs, La Strega has quickly become one of the area’s most sought-after dining spots.

La Strega invites you to indulge in a shared feast of fresh pastas, pizzas, and seafood in a welcoming dining space.

While we’re mainly talking about pasta in this post, I won’t be able to sleep if I dont tell you to try their Spicy Pig pizza, topped with soppressata, smoked mozzarella and chives.

As for the spaghetti, probably one of the freshest pasta dishes I’ve ever tasted is the classic pomodoro pasta with tomatoes and fresh basil.

Basilico Ristorante Italiano

Basilico truly stands out as a remarkable find, located in Spring Valley. The atmosphere is both cozy and inviting, further enriched by the chill vibe of live music. Basilico’s service adds to the allure, complementing the exceptional culinary offerings.

The standout dish of the night was undoubtedly the spaghetti, served with a trio of tomatoes – Roma, Cherry, and San Marzano. The pasta is always cooked perfectly and the sauce is a rich blend that wakes up those taste buds. Mama Fig would be proud of this one.
