It hasn’t happened often, but if a girl I’m seeing cancels on me on the first or second date, I’m done. “I’m going to be at work late” or “I can’t come because Mercury is retrograde” – I don’t want to hear it.
Now if shes really hot, I’ll make an exception because…ya know. And this leads me to Sick New World 2026 coming back to Vegas after canceling their 2025 festival just a few months prior to the show.
18 year old Andrew was distraught and lost. Wandering the streets of Las Vegas Boulevard with no purpose, thinking of all the absolute chaos that would’ve ensued if I got in that mosh pit.

So now we’re here. Sick New World announced they were coming back with System of a Down, Korn, AFI, Marilyn Manson etc etc. Just take a look at the flyer and read it for yourself.
And this is where I’m stuck. Do I take her back and get my hopes up once again? Because if she stands me up again, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to live with myself.
Get the spiky hair and baggy clothes ready because 40 year old Andrew is reliving his teen years all over again come April 2026.
