Spooky season officially starts now for us normal people. I know, I know, some people start spooky season a little earlier than most. No judgement – just not for me dawg.
We’re 2 weeks out from Halloween and now is the best time to start getting those decorations up and costumes picked out. And more importantly, to host a Halloween-specific tournament for Las Vegas.
This wasn’t an easy tournament for me to put together – mainly because I get nightmares watching Dateline. So it’s not my vibe, but I know for most of you, this is your time to shine. So here we are, 10 of my (and other’s) favorite attractions here in Las Vegas.
A no-holds-barred, so scary you’ll shit your pants, spectacular event.
Round 1

I picked 10 attractions, because if I tried more the quality of the production started to fade off a bit compared to others. And I wanted to wrap this tournament up in 1 week, so 10 works just fine.
Escape IT and Universal Horror Unleashed get the first round byes because those stand out a bit more in terms of production.
Saw Escape Room vs Undead Maze

For anyone thats a fan of the Saw movies, you’ve more than likely been to this attraction so you know what you’re getting yourself into. Undead Maze, hosted at the Downtown Grand, is 2,000 square feet of twists and turns. And they validate parking!
Zak Bagans Haunted Museum vs Urban Death Vegas

Ol’ boy ZB is the OG of LV spooks. If you’re a fan of horror and supernatural things and you HAVEN’T heard of Zak Bagans or his Haunted Museum, well you’re just straight up lying to me and yourself. Theres no need for that. Urban Death Vegas is a show put on by the Vegas Theatre Company – they put together the show Abandon and it fucked me up so badly I STILL think about it a year later. In my opinion Vegas Theatre Company can do no wrong.
Escape Blair Witch vs Halloween Maze Haunted House

The Blair Witch Project came out at the absolute perfect time, not knowing whether it was real or not and not being able to Google it made it a phenomenon. Now you can literally live it, here in Vegas. I was torn on putting another maze on the list but Halloween Maze Haunted House had such a good production I couldn’t pass it up.
Fear Zone vs The Basement

Fear Zone started a little controversy when they announced they were coming to town, a lot of people confused Fear Zone with the original fear attraction at Circus Circus, Fright Dome. And The Basement is my first escape room I ever did in town (I did not survive RIP Andrew).
